Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Sonelune website and apps. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

Sonelune lets you turn text into speech, follow synchronized captions, practice individual sentences, and download generated audio for personal listening.

Your content

You retain your rights to the text you submit. You are responsible for making sure you have permission to use that content and that your use complies with applicable law.

You grant Sonelune the limited permission needed to process your text, generate audio and captions, and deliver those files to you.

Acceptable use

You may not use Sonelune to violate another person’s rights, distribute unlawful content, impersonate others, or misuse generated voices. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Plans, credits, and payments

Sonelune Plus is a subscription billed monthly or yearly. Each month it grants a credit allowance that is spent by generating speech; unused credits do not carry over to the next month. Credit packs are one-time purchases, and their credits do not expire. Prices, the renewal period, and what you get are shown before you buy.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Sonelune Plus and credit packs are sold on the website and in the iOS app. Website purchases are charged in US dollars by our payment processor at checkout; you can change your plan, update your payment method, or cancel a website subscription from the pricing page. Purchases made in the iOS app go through Apple, and Apple’s terms and refund process apply to them. Your balance is shared across the app and the website. Credits are spent when audio is generated; if generation fails on our side, the credits are returned. Beyond that, payments are non-refundable except where the law or Apple’s policies require otherwise. If something went wrong with a purchase, email hi@sonelune.com.

Changes and availability

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may change prices for future billing periods with notice. We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Warranty and liability

Sonelune is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Generated audio may contain mistakes. To the extent permitted by law, Sonelune’s total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time in the iOS app. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, or that put the service or other people at risk; where reasonable, we will tell you why. When an account is closed, its content is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect.
