Sonelune keeps the audio you generate in your library until you delete it, and you can also download it to your device.

Information we may process

Account and subscription information.
Text you submit to generate speech.
Generated audio, captions, and playback metadata.
An optional screenshot, if you attach one to a feedback message.
Basic technical and usage information needed to operate and improve the service, such as when you open the app or website, submit text to generate, and start or finish playing an audio.
On the website, the page where you first arrived and the site or campaign link that brought you there. This is stored in a cookie for 30 days and saved with your account only if you sign up, so we can see which pages and channels bring new users.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run Sonelune:

Speech synthesis — the text you submit is sent to a third-party speech synthesis provider in order to produce your audio. We send it for that purpose only.
File storage — generated audio, captions, and feedback screenshots are held by a third-party cloud storage provider and served from there when you play or download them.
Sign-in — Apple and Google. We receive the identifier and email address your account shares with us. We never see your password.
Payments — the Apple App Store for purchases made in the iOS app, and a third-party payment processor for purchases made on the website. We receive purchase and subscription status and, for website purchases, the email address and billing details you enter at checkout. Your card number is handled by the processor and never reaches us.

We choose providers that process this data only on our instructions, and we may change them over time. To ask which providers we currently use, email hi@sonelune.com.

Retention

Your source text, generated audio, and captions are kept for as long as you keep the item in your library. Deleting an item removes it from our storage; deleting your account removes all of them, along with your account record. Audio downloaded to your device remains there until you remove it.

We may introduce automatic clean-up for accounts that have been inactive for a long time. If we do, the rules and any advance notice will be published here before they take effect.

Your choices

You can delete individual items from your library, and you can delete your account in the iOS app. Both remove the corresponding source text and generated files from our storage.
